We are not separate from our minds, and often illness effects the mind, and as such the mind effects illness. As in naturopathic medicine, the whole person is treated, it is important that we look at this, and learn healthy ways of dealing with day to day emotions and stresses. Mindfulness and self-care are practices that contribute to a well-balanced and happy life.
