Dr. Alana Hendrickson

Alberta born and raised, and always knowing she would pursue a career in medicine Alana embarked on her undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary within the Kinesiology program. Here she fostered her love for the body through the study of exercise and health physiology. This lead her to pursue her education in naturopathic medicine. She received her doctorate from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Arizona. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for empowering people and their health through education and treating the underlying cause of illness. During her time at SCNM she also became passionately involved with Naturopaths Without Borders where she planned and volunteered at free monthly clinics to Rocky Point, Mexico. These trips allowed her to gain invaluable experience in global health as well as the opportunity to see and treat a variety of clinical conditions. She hopes to be able to give back and pursue her passion for global health in the future.

Dr. Hendrickson works as a general primary care practitioner treating a broad array of conditions (see list of conditions treated), with a focus on anti-aging and regenerative therapies as they apply to all aspects of the body. Naturopathic medicine embodies the holistic mind-set that can empower people to really understand and take control of their health and health goals. Life happens, injuries happen, our bodies age… As a Naturopathic Doctor I look at the whole body and work with you to identify the root cause of your individual health issues. From here we work together to successfully facilitate the necessary changes and therapeutic interventions to produce a lasting change. The human body is miraculous in its ability to regenerate when supported properly. I can’t think of anything more exciting than guiding and helping someone feel their best along their journey, whatever that may be.
